Proactive Prevention – Preparedness in Response – Working Together for a Safer Industrial Environment

Hai Son Company Limited continues to affirm its role and responsibility as an industrial park infrastructure developer in ensuring fire prevention and firefighting (FPF) safety. The Company also calls upon the business community and all workers to raise safety awareness, proactively prevent potential hazards, and remain prepared to respond to fire and explosion incidents.

Fire Safety – A Foundation for Sustainable Development

In industrial production environments, fire and explosion risks may arise from machinery operations, electrical systems, the storage of raw materials and chemicals, as well as routine manufacturing activities. Even a minor incident caused by negligence or inadequate safety controls can result in serious consequences, affecting human life, property, production operations, and the surrounding environment.

Therefore, fire prevention, firefighting and rescue (FPF&R) are not merely matters of regulatory compliance, but also a shared responsibility toward the community and a critical factor in maintaining stable production operations and fostering a safe and sustainable investment environment.

Proactively Building and Maintaining a Safe Environment – The Responsibility of the Infrastructure Developer

As an industrial park infrastructure developer and operator, Hai Son recognizes fire prevention, firefighting and rescue as key responsibilities throughout the investment, management, and infrastructure development process.

In addition to investing in and maintaining technical infrastructure and fire safety conditions in accordance with applicable regulations, the infrastructure developer also plays an important role in coordinating with relevant authorities and enterprises to promote safety awareness, inspect and identify potential hazards, and proactively prepare response plans for emergency situations.

Fire safety is not the sole responsibility of any individual department. It requires ongoing commitment and close coordination among the infrastructure developer, enterprises, and relevant authorities.

Every Enterprise and Every Worker – An Important Link in Fire Prevention

Alongside the responsibilities of the infrastructure developer, every enterprise operating within the industrial park must proactively comply with applicable fire prevention, firefighting and rescue regulations at its premises. Regular inspections of electrical systems, machinery, production equipment, storage areas, and combustible materials are essential to ensure that firefighting equipment, emergency exits, and other safety conditions remain ready for use.

In particular, workers should cultivate safe working habits through simple yet essential actions:

  • Never underestimate risks associated with heat sources, open flames, or electrical equipment.

  • Strictly comply with safety procedures when operating machinery and equipment or performing tasks that may generate sparks.

  • Do not install or repair electrical systems without the necessary qualifications and expertise.

  • Never obstruct firefighting equipment or emergency escape routes.

  • Proactively identify and report safety hazards, and promptly notify the relevant personnel upon detecting signs of fire, smoke, or unusual incidents.

  • Understand workplace evacuation procedures, the locations of firefighting equipment, and the skills required to handle emergency situations.

Individual vigilance serves as the first line of defense in preventing fires and explosions at their earliest stages. Equipping employees with the knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies also plays a vital role in protecting human life, limiting property damage, and minimizing potential losses.

Prevention Today – Protection for Tomorrow

In response to National Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Day on October 4, Hai Son calls upon the business community and all workers to strengthen their sense of responsibility, remain vigilant against fire and explosion hazards, proactively implement preventive measures, and be ready to coordinate in responding to emergency situations.

Every preventive action taken today not only protects ourselves but also safeguards our colleagues, businesses, and the wider community.
