The electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing industry is one of the industries that accounts for a high proportion of existing industries in Vietnam. The electrical equipment manufacturing industry has been asserting its position in the domestic market, with annual output serving more than 80% of domestic consumption demand. The production rate is always increasing year by year.

Simultaneously, the electronics manufacturing industry has made a very strong transformation in recent years and is holding a key position in the industry, accounting for 17.8% of the entire industry in Vietnam. According to statistics of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the export turnover of computer components and electronic equipment of Vietnam has always grown strongly from 2016 to present. In Vietnam’s industrial plan for 2016-2021, with a vision to 2030, the goal is to build the electronics industry into a key industry and support the development of other industries.
